Balls on the roof, pain in my heart 089/100

I woke from a sweaty, clawing, bedclothes tangling dream. It felt so real, enough that — whilst so glad to be awake — so real that I feared a heart attack. What scared me you ask? I’d been trapped in a shed. Not sure where it was but hot, damp. Outside I could hear howling, nothing I could identify, no sound I knew. But the creature, whatever it was, skittering across the ceiling above me. I could hear its claws sounding like hail, running across the tin roof whilst bizarrely sounding as though it was also kicking a ball in front of it?

H is for Heart

“The animal had claws, it was running across the tin roof whilst kicking a ball in front of it, sounding like hail, I felt as though I’d have a heart attack.”
